Request to Work

The Walk With Christ weekend is an  opportunity to leave the world behind and enter into a “first century” church atmosphere. By agreeing to serve on a walk you have committed yourself to remaining at the church for the entire weekend without outside communications.  This is called “cloister.”  An emergency phone number will be provided for your loved ones.  Just as Christ watched over your families and loved ones when you “made” your Walk, He will do the same for you as you “serve” on a Walk.

In this digital age of cell phones and tablets, it is increasingly difficult to pull ourselves away from the world. As true servants, we must consciously make the decision to leave behind our electronic “leashes to the world”. So plan to come and enter into this community of believers to serve our wonderful Lord and the Candidates free from the world’s constant pull.
