Secretariat Officer Nomination Details:

All individuals elected to leadership positions in The Walk With Christ movement are to be nominated by community members. The Nominations Committee of the Secretariat receives, validates, and authenticates these nominations, which are then delivered to the Secretariat. At its second to last meeting of the year, the Secretariat discusses those nominations, prays for guidance, and then votes on all those nominated for the Secretariat positions for the next year.

Information on the Secretariat itself, as well as on any of the Secretariat positions, may be obtained from the current officers or from the Nominations Committee.

If you wish to nominate someone, be sure to secure their permission to do so. Please supply the information requested below, making certain that the name and phone number of the nominee’s pastor are included. Director/Directora Nomination Details:

Every individual chosen to lead a Walk weekend in The Walk With Christ community is first nominated by a pilgrim. The Nominations Committee, which reports to the Secretariat, receives and reviews these nominations to provide assurance that they meet the required criteria as given on the nominations form. Once this has been done, the nominations are presented to the Secretariat, which prayerfully seeks guidance as it discusses and votes on them.

Selections are made six months or more prior to the dates of the Walk being considered. Each nomination may be deliberated upon for as many as three consecutive Secretariat meetings at which selections are scheduled. Any nominee not chosen must then be re-nominated in order to be considered further. A nomination form is not valid beyond the third Secretariat meeting at which it is considered.
